The Recipe of the Week

Following up on our recent wellness tips, we wanted to share one of our absolute favorite healthy swaps with you.
When cravings hit during busy afternoons, traditional desserts can cause sharp blood sugar spikes—leading to energy crashes and increased hunger. This simple High-Protein Frozen Berry Bark is designed to support your metabolic goals, provide sustained energy, and complement your treatment plan.
High-Protein Berry & Dark Chocolate Bark
Prep Time: 5 mins | Freeze Time: 2 hours | Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Plain Low-Fat Greek Yogurt (or unsweetened coconut yogurt)
1 scoop Unflavored or Vanilla Protein Powder
1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup or Honey (optional)
1/2 cup Fresh Strawberries or Raspberries, sliced
2 tbsp Dark Chocolate Chips (70%+ cacao)
2 tbsp Sliced Almonds or Chia Seeds (for fiber and healthy fats)
Instructions:
Mix: In a bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, protein powder, and maple syrup until smooth.
Spread: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread the yogurt mixture evenly into a thin layer (about 1/4-inch thick).
Top: Evenly scatter the berries, dark chocolate chips, and sliced almonds over the top. Gently press them into the yogurt.
Freeze: Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until completely firm.
Serve: Break or cut into bark pieces. Keep stored in an airtight container in the freezer.
Why This Swap Works
Protein & Fiber Support: Greek yogurt and protein powder help preserve lean muscle tissue—especially important if you are on a GLP-1 regimen like Tirzepatide or Semaglutide.
Blood Sugar Stability: Healthy fats from the almonds and low-glycemic antioxidants from berries keep satiety signals high without triggering intense cravings.
Recovery-Friendly: Antioxidants help combat oxidative stress, serving as a great post-workout snack alongside your recovery routine or peptide blends (like our Wolverine Blend).
